HOW… DID YOU MEET?
We met 13 years ago. We have a lot of friends in common and had a fling back then. We stayed friends after that, not really close though. We “met again” 3 years ago and since then we have been inseparable.
WHY…DID YOU CHOOSE WATERKLOOF?
Even though we live in Angola, we decided to have our special day in Cape Town. We had looked online for different venues, but Waterkloof had all the elements we desired: Nature, views, minimalistic design, simple and very environmentally conscious.
WHAT…WERE YOUR FAVOURITE WATERKLOOF WINE AND DISH?
Circle of Life White and the monkfish.
WHAT…IS YOUR BEST MEMORY OF THE DAY?
Having all our family and friends there to witness what we feel for each other and the big step we have taken. The love in the room could be literally seen in every little thing!
DO YOU…HAVE ANY ADVICE FOR FUTURE BRIDAL COUPLES?
If you are doing a destination wedding, ensure that you have a wedding planner. That is a must if you want to enjoy the planning journey – and your day, after all.
