Once you turn off the Sir Lowry’s Pass Village Road and enter the Waterkloof gates, a lane of trees beckon to the hills where a total sensory experience awaits. Soon the road meanders through an amphitheatre flanked by reclaimed fynbos and immaculately kept vineyards, to our state-of-the-art cellar.
Our logo welcomes you to the Waterkloof Wine Tasting Lounge. Stop for a while outside and breathe deeply. Fill your soul with the views over the surrounding Schaapenberg hills and False Bay down below.
Now enter the area that was designed to hold the visitor in awe, while showcasing the sincere, clean essence of our Old World style wines. Tall glass walls allow the visitor views of both the working cellar and the farm below, while raw concrete columns form the perfect space for exhibited art from well-known South African artists. |
FLAVOURS FOR ALL SEASONS
Warm days call you outside onto the balcony, a glass of our exceptional, terroir driven Sauvignon Blanc or Cape Coral Rosé in hand, the crisp flavours subtly echoed by the fragrances on the cooling breeze. On cold days the fire in the huge fireplace combines with stylish leather furniture to create an atmosphere of warmth and tranquil leisure, the perfect accompaniment to our mellowed Merlot and spicy Shiraz. And a glass of our Chenin Blanc, Viognier, or Chardonnay pairs perfectly with the laughter of good friends on lazy days.
The Restaurant at Waterkloof provides unpretentious fine dining enjoyed with our passionate wines.The tasting lounge is open daily from 10h00 to 17h00.
