The wonder of wine cannot be reduced to mere numbers, but we were nevertheless over-the-moon to read that the first red to make it to our flagship Waterkloof range -Waterkloof Syrah 2020- has just received the highest score of any wine we’ve made to date.
Not only that, but numerous others also garnered rave reviews from WINEMAG’S Christian Eedes. Here are the highlights:

Waterkloof was founded 20 years ago this year and we always knew that this ocean-facing amphitheater of vines had potential for special things. With much hard work and increased vine age it seems like we’re slowly getting there and whilst we’re not sure exactly where “there” is yet, it certainly is a fun journey.
