Waterkloof is proud to be independent, so when we found out last week that our Cape Coral Rosé 2015 has just made it into The Wine Merchant Top 100 2016, we were especially pleased. This competition differs from most as it only accepts entries from wines available for UK retail strictly through the independent sector. This means that the many wines that have been tempted onto the aisles of UK supermarkets, specialist chains or major online retailers -having been first built up by the noble independents- are simply not allowed to enter the competition.
