THE WATERKLOOF TASTING EXPERIENCE
Our state-of-the-art cellar is designed to hold you in awe from the moment you arrive, showcasing the sincere, clean essence of our Old World-style wines. The famous Waterkloof glass box, which houses part of the Tasting Lounge, affords uninterrupted views of our working cellar, vineyards, the Helderberg mountains and the glistening False Bay. The Tasting Lounge experience is complemented by contemporary artworks of well-known South African artists.
On warm days, the weather calls you outside onto the balcony, a glass of our exceptional, terroir-driven Sauvignon Blanc or Cape Coral Rosé in hand, with the crisp flavours subtly echoed by the fragrances of the cooling breeze. On cold days the fire in the huge fireplace and the stylish leather furniture combines to create an atmosphere of warmth and tranquil leisure, the perfect accompaniment to our mellowed Merlot and spicy Shiraz. And a glass of our Chenin Blanc, Viognier, or Chardonnay pairs perfectly with the laughter of good friends on lazy days.
