Northern Hemisphere summer is in full flow and we’re delighted to read that Seriously Cool Cinsault, our chilled, sunshine red is garnering such high praise from the press.
International publication DECANTER MAGAZINE have just featured the wine in their line-up of South Africa’s best old vine Cinsault’s:
“Approachable and easy-drinking, from bush vines planted in 1964 and 1976, aged 10 months in neutral 600-litre barrels. Cinsault’s candy-floss tones show on the nose, with good concentration of strawberry fruit pastilles and violet notes on the palate. A crowd-pleasing style to serve (as the name suggests) at cellar temperature with duck or pork belly.”
