HOW…DID THE TWO OF YOU MEET?
We met there where most people spend most of their time……work.
It wasn’t the typical story about love at first sight…. We worked together for a year first and only when we really started working on a project in Paris together we got to know each other better. That is when we discovered all the characteristics in each other which we liked.
WHY…DID YOU CHOOSE WATERKLOOF FOR YOUR SPECIAL DAY?
We were always 100% sure we wanted to get married in South Africa. So when we decided after 5 years to tie the knot we started browsing the net for the perfect location. We remembered we had seen pictures of a magnificent venue with a stunnig view, but had no name of the place. The groom searched the internet for 3 weeks and then found it = that was it; Waterkloof!
WHAT…IS YOUR BEST MEMORY OF THE DAY?

The whole day from beginning to end. We really tried to live the whole day very consiously and in our opinion we succeeded. We can remember the whole day in detail and still love every bit of it. Wouldn’t change a thing.
Kristof;
Very difficult to pick just one as the whole day was filled with wonderfull moments. From the preparations in Capetown citybowl to the wonderfull ceremony at Vredehoek till the magnificent afternoon and evening at Waterkloof. It was all picture perfect and we couldn’t ask for anything else. The whole day was just a reflection of what we like and who we are ; from the flowers we like to the wine and the food we love.
WHAT…IS YOUR FAVOURITE WATERKLOOF WINE AND DISH?
Tough one for us. When we sat down with Gregory to discuss our wedding menu we couldn’t decide which dishes we liked most so that is why we ended up with a customised menu giving our guest 11 different dishes to enjoy. Luckily some of them were small 😉
