As this week’s US election results have shown, tastes on one side of The Atlantic can differ dramatically from those on the other. One person’s meat is another person’s poison and the same can often be observed of transatlantic tastes in wine.
So, we were delighted both sides concur on our Seriously Cool Chenin Blanc 2015 with 90 point scores from both the US based Wine Spectator (USA) and UK based Decanter (UK) magazines.
“Dusty notes of chalk, evocative of rain on slate. Full and tight orchard fruits like bruised apple and quince embedded with smoky aniseed notes. Rich and pleasant with a fine acidic finish. Drink 2016-2021. Alc 13% 90 POINTS”
“This has a mix of creamy apple and peach flavors juxtaposed with crunchy lime and green almond accents. Pretty honeysuckle notes gild the finish. Drink now through 2017. 90 POINTS”
We can all drink to that result!
